The Wave ( it comes as a Starter Kit ) is a hand-held vibrating cleanser and comes with two trail packs of pre-soaped pads and the necessary AA battery.
The size of the Wave is perfect. It fits easily and comfortably in your hand and is about 3 inches in size ( approximately the size of your palm ). Small, half-dollar sized, pre-soaped pads are placed on the head of the Wave - and this is wonderful, mild Neutrogena soap. You activate the soap by running the Wave under some water. You then turn on the Wave with a push button and that's it. You're all set to use the Wave - moving it over your face. When you're done - you pull off the pad, and throw it away. Simple.
The soap pads are very easy to use. You just place them on the head of the Wave. The head is designed to "grab" the pads. There is no pushing, no connecting, no messing with anything - just put them there.
My favorite thing about the Wave though, is that it can be used at the sink or in the shower. Yes, in the shower! You don't have to make an extra stop at the sink to wash your face before jumping into the shower. Yipee!
The vibration of the Wave is just perfect, gentle - it is NOT abrasive and it does not move in circles or brush against your face. You don't end up with patchy red areas!
The soap on the pads is mild and soft and leaves your face feeling wonderful. Neutrogena is famous for it's soap, and using it once, you know why.
Because both the vibration and soap is mild - you can safely use the Wave every day, anytime you wash your face. You don't have to be concerned with using it too often or it being too rough on you. I use it daily without any issues at all.
Travelers : This item is small and you can easily put it in your make-up case or travel-pack.
I got the pink colored Wave, though I have seen green and blue colors available.
My only issue with the whole package is that the pre-soaped pads do not come in a re-sealable pouch.
All and all, though - This items is great and I highly recommend it.
This item includes : Wave Cleanser device, 14 pre-soaped pads and a AA battery.
Refill pads, in sets of 30, are required after you use the initially supplied 14.

Also if you do not do serious exfoliation... You can be left with discolored dried dead skin still stuck on you... My stomach looked very dark for a while because I couldn't exfoliate enough. I still recommend this product. It does help the skin absorb moisture. In fact i used to wear oil as my moisturizer every day... Now I barely use lotion. My skin looks great.

(More customer reviews)I suffer from hyper-pigmentation and am always searching for products that fade dark spots while maintaining breakouts and are non-irritating. I heard of the Ambi line for women of deeper complexions and so far I love this cleanser!
The foam stays true to the idea that less is more as about two pumps delivers enough to wash off makeup and dirt with none left behind. The salicylic keeps my pimples at bay and I have not had one since using this cleanser for about 3 weeks now. The fragrance is not overbearing and this balances the removal of oil without over drying. I have combination skin (oil on t-zone and chin) and usually use toner after cleansing to remove the extra oil but since using this I do not feel excessively oily as the day goes on.
No white heads or clogged pores and my skin does feel fresh without that tight feeling. So far I have not seen a drastic change in dark spots but I plan on continued use.

I loved it, but didn't want to spend the price at Ulta, so I looked on amazon and found it cheaper. The 3 steps are easy and the product is mild. I usually keep it on a little longer than 5 mins. While it doesn't seem to fade my sun spots, it really has helped with wrinkles and also blemishes. My skin has been clearer from using it, which was an added bonus. I also have my 66 year-old Mom using it too. She likes it too and has very sensitive skin.

(More customer reviews)The reason why at home microdermabrasion systems receive bad reviews is due to the fact that microdermasion is not (as of yet) FDA approved; therefore anyone can sell a micro-dermabrasion system and claim it works.
Skeptically, I ordered this particular Nubrilliance system from the Nu-brilliance website. From the date I ordered Nubrilliance it took approximately a month for me to receive. I got it several days ago. I waited to have time on my hands to read the instruction manual, watch DVD, and finish treating several pimples on my face I had gotten during "that time of the month". I finally got to use the system yesterday, and oh my goodness -- I have noticeably larger areas of clearness in my face with a healthier sheen, which is less interrupted by blemishes. Even my husband commented on how well my face looks. I told him I had started the microdermabrasion system and he had said: "keep it up love". Though the box said the wait would be much longer for results, this is the kind of instant gratification I am hoping for!
For anyone considering to purchase this product, please keep in mind that the the system comes with the diamond tip for the face the extras are to be used on the arms, legs, etc. Don't get them mixed up. So, even if the product were to fail and I were only able to do several microdermabrasion sessions on my face - considering what the price is for ONE microdermabrasion (professional) treatment, this Nu-brilliance would be worth it.
NOTE: IF your product arrives without the 3 step prep and recovery cleanser/creams (preparation cleanser, collagen regenerator, SPF 15 moisturizing protector) use any other facial treatment. My Nubrilliance 3pc prep (which is to be used in combination with the microdermabrasion system) will be arriving sometime in June (RD). However, since I could not wait till then to start using my system, I am currently using NouriFusion Normal to Oily Kit by Herbalife. This is a simple three-step regimen for beautiful, healthy-looking skin by Herbalife which I got from a distributor. However, the NouriFusion kit could be purchased right here on Amazon. Cheers.

(More customer reviews)Although it is a pain to take the time everyday to apply lotion, it would be a greater pain to live with extremely dry skin. I've been using this creme for about two decades now, and hope it never goes out of production until a permanent cure is found. One great thing about this type of Eucerin is that it isn't oily at all. After application, depending on how liberally it is applied (and not much is needed), there can be a slight bit of a lubricated feel, but not slippery like suntan oil at all, which I would hate. If you rub it in thoroughly, and use just enough to cover the area, it returns the skin to how it should feel, without being chapped, flaky and parched, which for me is after every wash. No lotion soap I've tried prevents dryness, so this Eucerin creme is what I count on.

I am 56 years old and have actually been receiving compliments on my complexion since I have been using this product. I use one pad 1-3 times a week after cleansing my face. They cause some initial stinging, but afterwards, they leave my face softer, glowing, and less dry than before. There is some information (on medline) that indicates glycolic acid stimulates cell turnover and production of new skin (a process that slows down as we age).I prefer to use skin care products that have some science behind them. I have wasted much time and money trying out unproven skin care products that do nothing but leave me with the memory of a clever marketing scam.This is a product that actually works. It is pricey for everyday use, but one container lasts me almost a year since you really don't need to use every day(in my opinion) to get results.I have very sensitive skin and cannot afford a chemical peel, so this is a good option for me.

She gave me a small sample and within a few days my skin looked brighter and more youthful. It really was an incredible difference. My skin is so clear and young looking, I can still pass for 28! It is expensive, but the jar lasts a long time. You only need a little dab of cream, it goes a long way. It is a very light cream, cream doesn't even seem like the right word to describe the consistency. It's very light and absorbs right into the skin. I only put it on at night, but you could easily wear it under makeup or even under your daytime moisturizer. I love this product!

(More customer reviews)I have oily, acne prone, sensitive skin and it's my first time using a creamy lotion cleanser. I generally go for either foaming or non-foaming gel cleansers. I love the sweet floral-herbal fragrance. The texture is rather oily, which is hard for me to wrap my brain around but as an esthetician I understand that oil attracts oil and that means it will be a better deep-cleanser to remove oil and debris from my pores. I massage it in for 2-3 minutes and remove it with a warm washcloth (gently). I use it as an eye makeup remover as well and it's not super-duper effective for that, but it gets the job done. All in all I like it alot and I look forward to cleansing with it.
