Skin gets drier/more uneven when I go without it for more than 2 weeks. I've tried lots of products, mostly those with hydroquinone, but Jan Marini's product works just as well without it. Goes on very smooth and absorbs quickly, I usually put it on alone at night. Love the results. Highly recommended.

However, as a red-headed Irish lass I have been searching for an inexpensive, effective and gentle micro-dermabrasion exfoliating facial wash cream. Most on the market are outrageously, and needlessly expensive. At $7. for a six tube of cream- Ambi exfoliating cream wash is a real find! It contains enough micor-beads to be effective as an exfoliator but is gentle enough for each shower, It works great to soften and smooth neck and face and bust-line. I love this product and think it is real value for money.

(More customer reviews)The lighter your skin(like me)the longer could take. I have been using this product for months because by experience I know that Hydroquinone works. It comes in a 4% prescription strenght which it works much faster but usually doctors are reluctant to prescribe it. I discover Nadinola by chance with a 3% concentration so I bought it to compare which is better. Both cost around the same....
The reason I gave this product 3 stars is because the results are slow and I also understand that for 5 to 7 dollars that's ok....

(More customer reviews)For three months, I consistently applied Porcelana's nighttime formula before bed and applied Porcelana's daytime formula, with the additional important ingredient of sunscreen, in the morning. Using both formulas, one jar of each lasted me exactly three months. Overall, I am very pleased with the final results. Most of my smaller age spots have faded or are gone but I do have darker spots that persist. They will require the use of a prescription strength formula of Hydroquinone or laser treatments but due to the overall reduction that has occurred, I know those possible next steps will be less extensive.
I also found the daytime formula left a nice base to apply make-up on to and my complexion actually seemed to clear up while using it.
I was very pleased with the results overall...and the price!

(More customer reviews)I ordered and used two bottles of this...I used it and followed directions completely, and wore a spf 30 sunscreen everyday. Did absolutely nothing for my hyperpigmentation. I finally broke down and bought Hydroquinone 4%, my pigmentation that had plagued me for 3 years had almost vanished. Please don't waste your money on this hype, if you have hyperpigmentation, just go for the hydroquinone 4 %, that cost me only $18.00 for a tube and had plenty left over, compared to $80.00 for this worthless item! I used murad for 6 months, hydroquinone for two months. I have an olive complexion, just because it's more expensive doesn't mean it's better!

As a child I used to have chicken skin on my upper arms and what's left now is very faint reddish "scars", so I decided to try this product on my arms first to test how my skin would react. What an absolute surprise! The skin under my arms is like milk. Luminescent and smooth. I just want to pet it! And the reddish skin on my upper arms has lightened considerably. I figure over time it will be unnoticeable. I can't wait!
I've since started using Palmer's Skin Success head to toe. There are no adverse reactions. It has a very subtle pleasant smell and goes on so smoothly.
The only one chink I've noticed is that if you're running around and getting sweaty it makes you ULTRA sweaty. I kept wiping under my breasts because the lotion together with sweat makes you...well, I hate to use the word, but kinda slimy. Rather like a sunblock would do. But, truly, I'm so thrilled with Skin Success that I couldn't possibly take away a star for that.
