(More customer reviews)I started using this a month ago in conjunction with Derma e's problem skin moisturizer and spot treatment. I have mild to moderate adult acne and I tried most everything I could get my hands on. I was using a benzoyl peroxide treatment prior to derma-e but was unhappy with the results. I just felt dryer and as if I were wrinkling prematurely. The benzoyl peroxide did nothing to help the problem- just dry it out. I've come to terms with my skin. I don't expect a miracle, that perfect flawless skin, anymore. I am, however, really happy with the results of this cleanser. I just started noticing results one month into the regiment. My skin hasn't broken out since I started using it. I still have redness and scars but they're also improving. I noticed this mainly because I had to use less concealer! The texture of my skin is definitely better. It's not an overnight change and it's not a miraculously flawless skin guarantee; but, my skin hasn't been this happy in as long as I can remember. I don't use this to remove makeup and I don't expect it to have the power to remove it. I also hated the smell at the start but have grown used to it. I would recommend this to anyone who has mild to moderate acne. I was starting to get horrible cystic pimples and needed something new. Luckily, this is just what I needed.

(More customer reviews)This product is very convenient. I don't know about you, but I sometimes have to force myself to wash my face, especially at night. At times it seems like too much of a process! With this product, there is virtually no prep involved besides grabbing the tub and wetting your face (even less if you wash your face in the shower). For being a non-soap product, the pads foam up very nicely (you may not even need to use water although it's probably better to dilute the solution a little). I use the smooth side first to remove my makeup and clean my face and then flip the pad over and use the textured side to exfoliate. This is my favorite side! I believe exfoliating is so important! It does a great job. You can tell this product is deep cleaning because your face tingles - not an uncomfortable tingle though (not for me anyway). After I'm done, I rinse my face with luke-warm water and pat my skin dry. My skin feels so clean. I follow cleansing with using witch hazel as a toner and extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer.
In the past few weeks that I've been using the pads (once in the morning and once at night), my face feels softer and my skin is definitely brighter and more radiant. Just like it says - imagine that! I have added this product to my daily routine.
My skin is fairly sensitive and I was nervous about changing over to a new product without a transition. I read some reviews where people experienced an allergic type reaction. I did not experience this at all. It's possible they were allergic to one of the ingredients, or they scrubbed too hard, or they didn't rinse the cleanser off completely.
Another thing I really like about this set up is although it's more expensive than buying a container of liquid cleanser, there's really no guessing involved. When using the liquid cleansers, I sometimes use too much (which ends up being wasted by going down the drain) or not enough (which is a pain to have to get more while your face is soaped up). It should be noted, this product won the Allure's Editor's Choice Award!

*If you find the pads are too big, cut them in half and double your product!
*GREEN IDEA - instead of recycling the tub, keep it, wash it out, and use it to keep your small cosmetics (cotton balls, Q-Tips, eye shadows, etc.)

(More customer reviews)Seeing as how amazon doesn't yet have a separate listing for the new SENSITIVE SKIN version of this cleanser, I'm posting it here. Though I think this product line is marketed more towards teens, this cleanser is excellent, superb, fantastic for my combination, adult-acne-prone skin! Doesn't dry out my face or make it too oily by day's end. So gentle it won't strip off make-up; to remove makeup, first smear a layer of this cleanser over dry, made-up face & wipe off with tissue. Then wash normally with more cleanser. Salicylic acid in cleansers is not very effective against acne, since it has to remain on skin for long periods to work. I leave this on in the shower for several minutes before rinsing, but for bad acne, you may need to use this plus a medicated leave-on product like Nature's Cure Body Spray (yes, I use that on my face and never had problems -- but close eyes & hold breath before spraying!) May need to follow this with moisturizer, though I don't. It's also good to use a sunscreen product for sensitive skin in the daytime - I like Neutrogena's sensitive skin sunblock. I love this product, try it...it may be the EUREKA! cleanser you've been searching for.

(More customer reviews)As many of you with skin problems probably know, it's usually impossible to treat acne AND signs of aging at the same time--I'm 31 and have been trying to help stop early/future wrinkles, but the traditional anti-aging products usually have ingredients that make me break out. So I was resorting to having to choose one or the other: did I want younger looking skin OR clear skin? Needless to say, finding this product was a godsend!
It really works, too (on both fronts). What I love THE MOST is that it's effective on my acne without overdrying my skin. Whoo hoo! Second: it smells WONDERFUL. Washing my face makes me smile. =-) It smells so good. Third: I haven't been using it long enough to see a major reduction in signs of aging, but so far, my skin definitely looks healthier and brighter overall.
Especially when you consider the low price (and that it's readily available at most drugstores and even some major grocery stores)--this is one of the best products IN THE WORLD!
(Note: because I have more severe acne, this product cannot clear up my skin on its own, so keep that in mind. If you have more severe blemishes, this probably won't be a miracle cream. I need more products in my anti-fighting regimin. However, this product is A DARN GOOD START!)

(More customer reviews)I've been looking for natural products to use instead of all those chemical-laden ones. It's very hard when you're suffering from acne! I'm 35 and never dreamed I would still be dealing with this. Proactive really worked for me, but it has ingredients that are not proven safe for pregnancies and I just don't want to worry about it if I have another child.
I found derma-e at a pharmacy and it seemed promising at first. The microdermabrasion from derma-e is actually wonderful! However, this moisturizer feels really greasy, the cleanser as well (derma-e problem skin cleanser). I assumed the greasiness was from the tea tree oil and hoped that this natural oil would somehow help the condition of my skin. After all, not all oils are bad. But my pores were SO CLOGGED, I started getting little bumps everywhere that didn't clear up for months, until I finally gave up and switched to La Roche Posay Effaclar products. They are mild and safe, but VERY clean and effective as well!
I will definitely stick with La Roche and never use this greasy stuff again!

The only problem is that I still get lots of pimples. I actually have a precription that says that it cleans and it doesn't even take off a fourth of the layer of grease. yes it is a preciption that doesn't take off the grease even though it says it does.

2. I also use this product as a wash every evening before I use the AMBI Fade Cream.
I love this product, just can't find it at the stores frequently. Paid less than $6 per tube, noticed it's up to $22 for three. At the time I purchased it was included in Free Shipping order. Not sure I'd pay the higher price for it though.

It doesn't dry out the skin or leave residue, I've only been using this to remove my makeup and keep my skin clear. My skin even feels smoother. Its an average sized bar of soap, I expect one bar to last me months. Perhaps the pack of three will last me a year? Well worth the price!!

Unlike so many men, I do worry about cleaning my skin and keeping it youthful-looking over time --- we all really do want to look our best these days. This product was recommended by Oprah's expert, and trust me: it's one of the best cleaners I've used in a long time. It does not dry your face out, but it does clean it quite well. And, as far as price goes, why spend $10 or more for something they've already created for under $4 a bottle (at current pricing)???? C'mon! I recommend this to anyone who has been searching for an excellent, non-drying cleanser for the face.

I have been using this for two weeks, and not only has it cleared up pimples, but has very much reduced the acne "scabbing" that I get from my (very bad) habit of picking. This has also been the hottest weeks of the year (my worst breakout tine) I am incredible fair and have sensitive skin and my face has absolutley ZERO redness. My only issue is that my blackheads aren't clearing. Try it, it seems like it is worth the money because I haven't even made a dent in it, and I usually wash 3 times a day. Give it a shot!
