I had never had acne, but my skin went ballistic after moving to DC, probably due to the water quality (hard water) and pollution in the District. After a few months in my new place, the sides of my face were covered in large white bumps and acne. This, of course, resulted in a lot of scarring. I tried a variety of acne treatments, including AcneFree, Cetaphil, and Proactive.
Although a few other variables may have contributed to the clearing of my skin (like using a shower filter and Purpose gentle cleanser), I believe that this product has been instrumental in clearing my acne. It's not a complete miracle product, but the redness and scarring has definitely reduced and my skin is now back to appearing nearly normal after about 4 months of bad skin problems. I used it twice a day at first and it worked marvelously underneath makeup. I'd say that I've used it generously through 4 or 5 tubes. I haven't used the whole set, just this one product. Salycilic acid is definitely the key to keeping my skin under control. It's definitely worth a shot if, like me, you've tried everything else.
