Every other day, I shine this little light on my swollen and painful arm. Then I let it rest one day. By using this method, the swelling and tenderness and pain of my right arm have been helped substantially. I would recommend this unit not only for use on the face as an antiaging device, but for lymphedema patients who want to break up the hard proteins in the swollen limb.
