(More customer reviews)I found this product to be effective at treating an acne breakout. It goes on clear and works fast to reduce the size of the pimple. I usually use it at bedtime, so that it works all night. Only a thin layer is needed on the skin. By morning, I notice a difference.
Overuse of the product can dry out and sting the skin on application. Also, this product doesn't cover up the acne, so perhaps it's best to use this for nighttime and then a acne treatment product that has a tint for daytime.
From what I've read this company conducts animal testing. So if you prefer to use products where you can be more sure that no animals were harmed, Clinique has a version of this product for only a few dollars more, called Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel. Their version is also color and fragrance-free, for sensitive skin.
