(More customer reviews)Potential purchasers would do well to note the directions ("PLEASE NOTE: Contains 1% of Alpha Lipoic Acid. May cause tingling when applied.") It should be listed under "possible side effects" and be in bold type. I tried this product and got the tingling, followed by red blotches which remained for 12-18 hours, and my face was still itchy 48 hours later. I don't normally react to skin care products and have used both Retinol and Alpha/Beta hydroxy products without issue, but consumers would do well to make sure they can use this before buying it, or have someone you can fob it off to if it causes you to be red faced after a time or two.
