Simultaneously gentle and effective (read: exfoliating). Definitely contributes to more luminous skin. If you leave it on for a few minutes (brush your teeth or something) the fruit enzymes take care of dead skin so there's no flaking. For those who are curious, the "beads" themselves are quite small and even-textured, so no scratching or irritation.
