(More customer reviews)I started using Manuka Oil after it was recommended by my chiropractor for my son for a persistent 'hockey rash' fungal infection that developed under his pads. He had been struggling with the rash for over a year, trying all sorts of OTC and prescription remedies and was going to give up hockey due to it. The Manuka Oil cleared up his rash in a matter of a couple of weeks. He was overjoyed. I started using it to see if it would clear up a persistent many years old toenail fungus. I use it 2X per day, putting it directly on the nail and cuticle and after years of having only limited improvement with other remedies, the Manuka Oil has the fungus on the run!
I had been ordering another brand which has a sharp, almost turpentine odor which I found to be no worse then something like a menthol rub. In January I gave this brand a try and now regret it. Unfortunately, this brand smells so bad I hate to put it on in the morning due to the awful scent that follows me all day. (Even with shoes and socks on!) It may be as effective as what I was using before, but I can't tell because the odor is so foul, use I'm not using it the way I should. I laughed when I saw that it is recommended for fungal foot odor, this oil is almost as bad as any feet I've ever smelled.
